Rolling Hills Radio

Rolling Hills Radio, a creation of producer/host Ken Hardley, is an ongoing series featuring live musical performances from local, regional, national and internationally recognized artists exploring, celebrating, and performing grassroots American music. It is recorded in front of a live audience, combining the ambience of a radio show from the middle of the last century with the intimate appeal of a studio setting.

This series of live musical performances is recorded and broadcast over community radio station WRFA-LP 107.9 in Jamestown and available as a streaming podcast around the world at WRFA-LP.

To buy single-performance tickets for Rolling Hills Radio, you can visit the Chamber's office at 512 Falconer Street, Jamestown (JCC-MTI building), call us at (716) 484-1101, or click the link on each show to take you to the event calendar for registration/ticket purchases.  Tickets are also available at the door prior to performances.

Bess Greenberg, from Binghamton, NY, is recognized for rich, textured vocals and openhearted lyrics. She performs on upright bass and a hollow-body electric guitar.

Nov 27, 2017      Featuring:  Moonshine Rhythm Club and Steve Piper

Moonshine Rhythm Club brings old-school swing and jazz to life with joyful arrangements and energetic playing that makes this vintage music sound like it was written this morning.

Steve Piper is a songwriter and performer who is roughly in the folk/country tradition, but whose diverse tastes and left-of-center view of life can slightly alter the reality of the open-hearted listener.

Dec 18, 2017     Featuring: Almond&Olive and David Michael Miller

Almond&Olive, comprised of singer-songwriters Natalie Alms and Ollie Davidson, creates inspiring songs that span the folk and Americana genres, while also incorporating Alms’ timeless vocals and the duo’s distinct songwriting. Blended together, Alms and Davidson's voices sound made for each other, soaring and guiding the music through all the ups and downs of these finely crafted songs.

"Miller is one of the finest soul-based singers in our region, and … he proves he’s also one of our most vibrant songwriters. Elements of gospel, R&B, electric blues and singer-songwriter leanings collide here to form a collection of elegant, stately and eminently grooving songs, delivered with consistent passion. This is incredibly spirited stuff, and it represents a new high-watermark for Buffalo-born recordings.” -  Jeff Miers, Buffalo News
